Mixed media artist with a focus in ceramics and social justice.

My artwork serves as a visual narrative that encourages reflection on topics often considered taboo. I employ a variety of mediums including, clay, printmaking, and fibers as conduits for social justice; shedding light on issues such as women’s healthcare, sexual assault, and gender stereotypes.

Much of my work draws inspiration from designs, patterns, and motifs found in antique dinnerware and portraiture. Through the layering colors and use of both classical, and modern techniques, I create a sense of elegance and nostalgia that warmly invites viewers to engage more deeply with the imagery. The scenes I depict diverge from the traditionally serene to tell a more serious narrative that challenges and critiques societal norms.

My work invites communal discussion around sensitive subjects, breaks down barriers of silence, and prompts empathetic engagement. Through participating in these conversations we celebrate the strength, resilience, and complexity of people's experiences, challenge societal expectations, and foster a sense of community and empowerment.
