Project Statement
Echoing the 14 Stations of the Cross from Catholicism, these stations chronicle the life of a woman, from birth to death. Regardless of her consent, she is forced to bear many crosses throughout her life, be it by religion, society, family, etc.
1. Baby is condemned to womanhood
2. Girl is burdened with sex appeal
3. Mother makes up the face of Girl
4. God helps Girl carry Her crosses
5. Woman loses Her innocence
6. Woman fall pregnant for the first time
7. Woman meets the other mothers
8. Woman falls pregnant for the second time
9. Woman falls pregnant for the third time
10. Woman internalizes ageism
11. Woman carries the cross of others
12. Woman is nailed to her position
13. Woman is forgotten
14. Woman is crucified by society
